On 7th February 2010, BSP Service Engineering (SEN) Department held a Charity event at OGDC, Seria. The charity event‘s main purpose is to raise funds for charitable institutions for Brunei.
The event was a success with numerous activities organized such as face painting, colouring contest, car wash, live performances by local band, magic show and so much more. There was also a mini Car Audio Show with 20 show cars supported the event.

Saturday 6/2/2010, QAF Auto Sdn Bhd officially launched the new BMW X1 to the public which was held at the Marine Centre of The Empire Hotel & Country Club. Brunei Darussalam is one of the first after the Philippines to officially launch the all new BMW X1.
Several units have arrived in the country in time for the official launch where several inquiries on the BMW X1 have been recieved at the showroom.

On 31st January 2010, Boustead Sdn Bhd organized a Press launch & Track Day for their latest 4x4 off roader, the Nissan Navara at Tungku beach. The Navara test drive activity was held for invited Shell members and its contractors, various media journalist and 4wd specialists.

The Nissan Navara is a Double Cab pickup truck that is capable of tearing down rough terrains with ease. The Navara rugged exterior has a distinguished presence; its tough face with angled strut grill and its clean modern rear gate with angled fins. Another distinguish feature of the Navara is the integrated over fender which makes it look wider. A stylish 16inch alloy wheels with 225/70R16 tyres comes standard for the Navara.
Unstoppable? Yes it is. The Navara comes with a powerful 2.5 litre turbocharged diesel engine (YD25DDTi diesel engine) which cranks out 128KW/172hp and maximum torque of 403Nm @2000rpm. One of the features of the Navara is the ability to control its 4wd system by using an electronically controlled 4wd system. The Navara’s ‘Shift on the fly 4wd system’ lets you switch between 2WD and 4WD (4H) without stopping the car (As long as the speed do not exceed 100km/h). There are three driving modes: 2WD, 4H and 4LO.
The Navara’s superb suspension setup (double wishbone with coil over shock absorber and rear rigid axle with leaf spring) and its Limited Slip Differential (LSD) is the key for the extraordinary off road control. With the LSD, the car is able to provide maximum grip and ensure unswerving traction. Going uphill and downhill is no problem for the Navara. It is capable of driving up/down a hill with approach angle 32° and departure angle 24°.
The Interior of Navara is well designed and comfortable. It provides ample of head and leg room for the driver as well for the passengers. The dashboard is made of high quality plastics. The seats on the Navara are comfortable as well. The 4WD indicator is visible through the Meter Display. The noise from the engine and road noise are further reduced to ensure maximum quietness. So the passenger can enjoy cruising without noisy & vibration sensation usually coming from a diesel engine.
As far as safety is concerned, the Navara is equipped with standard safety equipments such as Anti lock brake system (ABS), Electronic Brake force distribution (EBD) and SRS airbag system for the driver and front passenger.

Ford Kuga Ride & Drive Bandar Seri Begawan to Kota Kinabalu
On 30th January 2010, Premier Automobiles Sdn Bhd has conducted a special 3 day test drive for Brunei Media Press. The test drive car is Premier Automobile's latest Ford Kuga. This special test drive journey kick start from Premier Automobiles Sdn Bhd showroom in Beribi and ends at Kota Kinabalu then finally head back to Brunei Darussalam on 1st February 2010. A series of activities was planned for the Media Press such as driving up the Mount Kinabalu.
The flag-off was officiated by Mr Teng Chee Khiong, the Managing Director of Premier Automobiles.
