This is my first time to see the 2007 Honda Civic Type R (FD2) at PAD MOTORS..This is the 4 door version of the Type R. Well in fact this is the 1st Type R Civic to be 4 door. The usual Type R Civics were 3 door(hatchback). The previous Honda Civic Type R is famous for its High Revving VTEC engine and of course the white championship body color. The moment i saw it, i simply want to get into it. It looks so awesome and its reputation as the fastest Fwd production car overwhelms me.

The FD2 is no less than its previous predecessor. Under the hood, lies the Honda gem that worthy to give the civic a Red Honda Badge. The K20A IVTEC engine produces a healthy 222hp at 8,400rpm & 159lb of torque. The K20A is match with close ratio six speed gearbox and limited slip differential come as stock. The Front and Rear brakes are fitted with four pot Brembo calipers. The white 18inch sport wheel are wrapped with Bridgestone Potenza RE070 tires. The original Type R bodykit sets the Civic Type R apart from the normal FD2 Civics. The interior are red and black color coded Bucket seats which are the trademark for the Type R models. The Push Start ignition button really looks tempting to start the high revving engine. The price tag for the Civic Type R is $55K.
