It’s the launching of the New Ford Mondeo and Ford S-Max at the Premier Automobiles Sdn Bhd. I drove the new Ford Mondeo few days ago during the press launch. It was a great driving experience. At last I get the chance to see the Ford S-Max closely. It was indeed sporty, sleek and purposeful MPV. Under the hood lies a 2.3 DURATEC HE engine which gives out 161ps & torque of 208Nm@4000rpm. The transmission is Durashift 6 speed auto. The S-Max comes with 17inch Alloy wheel as standard.

The interior space was very spacey between the leg gaps and the seats. Thanks to Ford Fold Flat System (FFS), the second and third row seats individually folds down flat to provide numerous passengers and luggage configuration. For entertainment, it is equipped with HMI (Human Machine Interface) system. As for safety, Ford S-Max has been awarded 5 stars by Euro NCAP. The S-Max consists of 7 airbags which deploys immediately on unwanted collision.
