2010 Jaguar XKR
This is the 2010 Jaguar XKR. This big cat has evolved into Lion somehow. The new Jaguar now comes with a serious performance engine, supercharged aluminium 5Liter V8 engine that rated 510hp and 461lb-ft of torque. The V8 power plant comes equipped with a ZF 6 speed automatic transmission that's now shifted with the marque's JaguarDrive Selector combines with a steering wheel mounted paddles. The transmission is paired with an advanced electronic differential to ensure it accelerates faster and more precise.
With that engine performance and superior transmission, the Jaguar XKR 0-60mph in blasting 4.6seconds.Adaptive Dynamics replaces the old Computer Active Technology Suspension (CATS) system. Adaptive Dynamics improves ride quality by monitoring wheel position 100 times in a second and automatically increasing damping rate as the suspension approaches the limits of its travel. There's also a full line of electric driving aid equipment fitted to the XKR such as Adaptive Damping System, Active Differential Control and Dynamic Stability Control.
The new Jaguar appearance is indeed better than the previous XK. It comes with a new front bumper and new LED tail lights. The streamline body design of the Jaguar is simply breathtaking. It also comes with a 19inch alloy wheels and optional 20inch alloy wheels.
The interior is what Jaguar always famous for. The XKR seats are full leathered seats with heating/cooling features for comfortness in driving. As for the interior trims on the doors and the dashboard, it can be opted for wood trims for elegance look or aluminium trim for sportier look. It also comes with a touch screen multimedia system which can control audio, climate control, Bluetooth mobile connectivity and satellite navigation system.
There's two variation of the XKR, either a coupe or a convertible model. As for the convertible model, to the top can be raised and lowered in 18 seconds. This new Jaguar is expected to be on sale in 2010.
