Nissan 350z is one of the highly desirable sports cars ever built by Nissan. It’s a rear wheel drive sports car that bears a 3.5Liter V6 engine under the hood. With superb torque coming from the V6 engine, its way enough to be use for either drifting or top speed run. With reliable high torque V6 engine, superb handling and awesome good looks, no wonder many Tuners from Japan or in the USA prefer to use 350Z as their project cars.

When it comes to Nissan 350z in Brunei, there’s only a few owners upgraded their Z to an extend more than just exterior modifications. What you see here is an example of a nicely modded Z with looks and sounds goes with it. Codename D1SturbZ. The owner of this Z is a member of Brunei Z owner’s club association (BZOCA).

This particular Z is the 2007 Nissan 350z that has more torque than the first batch of Z coming from the local dealer. Under the hood is a 3.5Litre V6 (VQ35HR) engine that in stock form rated 306Bhp with 268 ft-lb of torque. According to the owner, the engine remains stock for now but it has been tweaked by adding performance bits such as the Amuse titanium exhaust. The Amuse titanium exhaust not only give the z a much better exhaust note, it also increases the engine performance and reduces the weight over the stock exhaust system. The owner fitted an HKS SLD, what HKS SLD does is it eliminates vehicle’s factory speed limiter. Blitz radiator cap and Greddy water temperature sensor are few add on to the V6 power plant. The V6 engine is mated with a 6 speed manual transmission. According to the owner, there will be more engine upgrades for this Z in the future.

With the performance side under wraps, now let us take look on the exterior modifications. The owner has fitted a full Origin Lab body kit for the Z. The body kit was designed for drifting and looks awesome on a silver color body. The front bumper of this Z is a bit neither subtle nor too aggressive. It really makes up the clean look of the car. For better down force, an Ings +1 low mount Carbon fiber spoiler is fitted.

One of the highlights of this Z is the wheels. It’s a Gloss Black Work Meister S1 with the size of 19inch x 9.5 for the fronts and 19inch x 11 wide for the rears. These wide wheels are fitted with Advan Sport V-103 tyres: 245/35/19 fronts and 295/30/19 rears. Finish off with a full set of Works extended blue lug nuts. Tein Comfort Sport (CS) coilovers with Electronic Damping Force Controller (EDFC) was responsible for this low stance. The Z is also fitted with Cusco front chamber kit, JIC Magic rear chamber kit. Behind the wheels is a standard Brembo brakes.

One of the big changes to the car is the sound system. A great sum of money was spend on this car for the modifications and upgrading the sound system is one of them. Here’s the break down. The owner purposely built this Z for sound quality. A JVC double DIN head unit replaced the stock head unit. Attached to the DVD head unit are some AVI component speakers up front and Alpine rear component speakers in the rear. A kicker subwoofer was chosen for this setup accompanied with Kicker amplifiers and Mass Engineering capacitor. The subwoofer and the amplifiers were fitted with custom fiberglass console done by Everstrong Electronic Service. In order to reduce the vibration and noise from outside the car, a Dampit sound proofing mat was fitted to the car.

Most of the parts inside the car still remain such as the leather tan seats. A Titanium finish gear knob replaced the stock ones. Few accessories such as Apexi Turbo timer, Defi Link Meters, Defi Link Display and Defi Link control unit II were also equipped inside the car.

Brunei Carzine would like to thank the owner of this cool ride for sharing it with us.
