Porsche Cayman Clubsport


German megastar sports car company, Porsche is currently preparing the sportier version of the new Cayman. It is the Porsche Cayman Clubsport. According to sources, the Clubsport is believed to be lighter by 100kg off the kerb weight. Most of the heavy components has been removed and replaced with lighter materials. This includes stripped out interior, lightweight body panels and forged alloy wheels.

The main changes to the Clubsport is the lightweight body, new bumper design and fixed rear spoiler but the engine still remains standard. The new Cayman Clubsport is using the new 320bhp 3.4 litre flat six with six speed manual transmission and Limited slip differential comes as standard. Good thing about the new Cayman Clubsport, the buyer can choose between a standard interior or flat out race spec trim which includes six point harness, roll cage and fire extinguisher. The new Cayman Clubsport will be available in October 2009.
