On Friday, 27th February 2009, T.C.Y.Motors Sdn Bhd held a press launch for the new Audi A3 at CheeseBox cafe, Mall Gadong. This is the first time for the Media personnel to see the new Audi A3 up close. Unlike the recently launched Audi A4, the Audi A3 is specially designed for the younger crowds. This beautifully design hot hatch comprises of high technology equipments and superior luxury essentials into a 5 door hatch back. The new Audi A3 received numerous awards under its belt; “Car of the year in Japan”, “Best Compact Car 2008 by Auto Bild Design Award 2008”, “Top Safety Pick by The U.S. Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS)’ in Nov 07”.

In March, T.C.Y.Motors Sdn Bhd will launch the 2.0 turbo FSI Audi A3 Sportback in S Line trim packing up an output of 200bhp. The brute force is match made in heaven with an S tronic 6 speed dual clutch transmission (also known as DSG) to ensure quick shift and smooth power transfer between the gears. Performance wise, 0-100km/h in 6.9seconds and a top speed of 238km/h.

If you are looking for a stylish hot hatch, then the new Audi A3 could be your choice. The design of the Audi A3 is undoubtedly very stylish especially the menacing huge front grill accompanied with headlights that comes with an Audi Trademark LED Daytime running lights. The dashboard consists of stylist aluminium trim air vents, S Line flat bottomed leather sport steering wheel and black dials with red needles instruments. The front bucket seats are covered with Fine Nappa Leather.
