T.C.Y. Motors Sdn Bhd as the sole dealer and distributor of the Audi brand in Brunei Darussalam last night invited members of the local press/media for a free viewing of the new Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen movie at the Empire cinema in Jerudong as an appreciation activity for their continuing support of the brand with the four-rings.

Even though not an official product placement, the Audi R8 is featured as one of the Decepticon robot characters in the film.


The Audi brand turns 100 in 2009. August Horch founded the company in Zwickau, Germany on July 16, 1909. Of the 50-plus German automotive brands which existed then, Audi is one of only three which remain. Throughout 2009, the brand with the four rings is proudly and happily celebrating its centennial at commemorative events and cultural celebrations.


After the successful launch of the Audi A4 sedan and Audi A3 Sportback earlier this year, T.C.Y. Motors will soon launch the all new Audi A6 sedan and Avant (wagon) in July. A limited edition of the sporty Audi TT Coupe will also be available with ONLY 3 units brought in from the 40 units allocated by Audi AG for Asean market and a special Titanium package for the Audi A3 Sportback. The much awaited Audi Q5 SUV will also be launched for the Brunei market within the 3rd quarter of this year.
