The Cadillac CTS-V was considered to be the fastest 4 door saloon and managed to hold its record (7min59sec) at Nürburgring track, that is only in a year and lost to a new challenger from Germany, The Porsche Panamera.

The 500hp Porsche Panamera outran the CTS-V by 3 seconds making it currently the fastest foor door saloon up to date. The Panamera Turbo lapped the Nordschleife in 7min 56sec. Its just a matter of time the Yankies will try again to snatch Porsche glory at the Nürburgring track.
