The Evolution X is the latest Evolution that was produced which is a huge transformation from the previous evolutions series. Mitsubishi also changed from the 4G63 to the latest 4B11 Mivec Turbo. One of the most common modifications after installing bolt-ons on the Evo X is by remapping the ECU using EcuTek to maximize the car performance to suit the modifications, temperature, humidity and also Brunei's fuel.
Trust front lip, chargespeed carbon fiber bottom line side and rear diffuser helps to improve the appearence of the EvoX and also aids in aerodynamics to help give the car more stability at high speeds.
Before the EcuTek reflash was done the car went through some bolt-ons modifications such as HKS racing suction kit, HKS SQV Blow-off valve, Jun Turbo actuator and HKS grounding kit. Samco silicone radiator hoses replaces the original rubber hoses for better durability and also improve the looks of the engine bay. The EvoX also went through a full de-cat exhaust system and exits through the twin Trust Titanium Exhaust. HKS exhaust cover was fitted to protect the rear bumper from the heat coming out of the exhaust. Carbing strut bar can also be seen in the engine bay to improve the chasis rigidity for better stability.
After all the bolt-ons were added the original ECU was remapped by EcuTek and helps the car to produce 390hp compare to the stock 280hp.
