Top Gear has come up with one of the most highly anticipated race ever, The battle of the titansTwo of my favorite supercars head to head in a 1 mile drag race. The Bugatti Veyron and the Mclaren F1. Both of the car are extremely expensive and rare in existence. Only a few lucky rich peoples can get a hand on these beauties.

I love the Mclaren F1, but i put my money on the Bugatti Veyron for this drag race.

Aston Martin to make a small, cute but all luxury car

Britain's big name super car manufacturer, Aston Martin has developed a new concept car based on Toyota IQ. The idea behind the built is to make a luxury commuter which offers customers a distinctive, intelligent and exclusive solution for urban travel in style and luxury. Aston Martin has chosen Toyota IQ as the based body due to the look and Euro NCAP 5star safety package. The concept car is called the Aston Martin Cygnet Concept.

Aston Martin Chief Executive, Dr Ulrich Bez said: "Now is the right time for Aston Martin to take this first bold step to embark on this special project - made possible with the support of an organisation of Toyota's stature and capability and the intelligent design and perfect city car package of the iQ."

The ‘Cygnet' concept represents a creative, environmentally conscious solution, being small, yet with presence - and highly fuel efficient, now combined with the prestige of Aston Martin's luxury brand ownership.

"Much work is still required, but I am confident that this project could become reality in the not too distant future. This concept - akin to an exclusive tender to a luxury yacht - will allow us to apply Aston Martin design language, craftsmanship and brand values to a completely new segment of the market."

B.Z.O.C.A @ WhiteZ Wedding

Today, 28/6/2009, approximately 10 350Z showed up to attend WhiteZ's wedding and escorted whiteZ all the way from Tutong to Belait. It has been a while since we saw this many 350Z gather and on the road.

When all the 350Z was on the road it really made a spectacular sight and attracted many attention from Tutong to Belait.
Bruneimotors also attended the event.

The plot is they disguise someone dressed almost the same as the Stig and try to see how many citizens of UK willing to let their cars driven by the Stig imposter.

TAG HEUER has come up contest with a trick video editing between two of their famous brand ambassador, the legendary late Steve McQueen and Our current Formula one superstar Lewis Hamilton battling for supremacy as in conjunction of celebrating TAG HEUER 40th Aniversary of the Monaco wristwatch. Online contestants registered their bets [at http://www.tagheuer.com] on who would win the virtual race. Three lucky winners received a Monaco wristwatch, Hamilton helmet or a test drive in an F1 car.

Audi gets top ratings for safety  

• Audi A4 and Q5: five stars even in stricter Euro NCAP crash test
• Top ratings for Audi Q5 and Audi A4 in US crash tests as well
• Impressive and innovative passive safety and driver assistance systems
• T.C.Y Motors currently offers the Audi A4 sedan with the Audi Q5 SUV coming later this year.



Ingolstadt – The latest Audi models have garnered top ratings for safety in four prestigious tests. The Audi A4 and Q5 achieved a top five-star rating in the new and more stringent Euro New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) safety tests. The U.S. National Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA) confirmed this outstanding collision performance and gave both cars a five-star rating in all categories. In addition, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), a U.S. consumer protection organization, proclaimed the Audi Q5 its “Top Safety Pick” – the best buy when it comes to safety.

Following the tradition of the Audi A3, A4, A6 and Audi Q7, the Audi Q5 has now also achieved top ratings from the renowned Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in the United States. This makes Audi the first carmaker in the world to earn the coveted honor of “Top Safety Pick” for the fifth time. The IIHS determines the safety standards for cars on behalf of the U.S. insurance industry. For this it conducts one front and one side impact test in each case, and also simulates a rear-end collision. The “Top Safety Pick” certificate is only awarded when top ratings are achieved in all three disciplines, and when the electronic stabilization program (ESP) is offered as standard equipment as well.

The side impact test included in the IIHS crash test is particularly demanding. In it, the car being tested experiences a 31 mph (50 km/h) side impact with a moving barrier that simulates a typical American SUV. The resulting structural deformations are then evaluated, along with passenger kinematics and impact. The Audi Q5 stood out for its outstandingly low impact ratings – its high-strength and super-high-strength steel components ensure an extremely stable car body. The risk of injury is further reduced by the networked controls for the restraint systems, which adapt to each specific crash situation, along with up to eight airbags.


In the rear-end collision simulation, the IIHS evaluates impact on the neck and spine. In the Audi Q5, the integrated head restraint system and the optimized design of the seat geometry help counter the risk of whiplash injuries. The IIHS does not test performance in high-speed rear-end collisions. In these cases, the rear side rails, rear wheels, and body sills of the Audi Q5 are designed specifically to reduce the energy of impact. The fuel tank lies in the protected zone in front of the rear-axle support – and the fuel pump switches off when a crash is detected.


The Audi Q5 and A4 both achieved a top five-star rating in the Euro NCAP safety test, for which a new and expanded evaluation system was used.


Since February 2009, Euro NCAP has added even more stringent standards: along with protecting adult passengers, the overall ratings also include standards for passenger protection for children and pedestrians, as well as the level of active safety.


Both the Audi A4 and the Q5 scored highly in all disciplines. The A4 and Q5 scored 93 and 92 percent, respectively, in protecting adult passengers in the frontal, side and simulated rear-end collisions. Both cars also achieved outstanding scores in child safety, with 84 percent out of 100 – impressive proof of the success of the comprehensive Audi “Modular Longitudinal Platform” safety concept, which serves as the basis of the A4 midsize sedan and the Q5 SUV.



Ensuring partner protection for pedestrians and cyclists is also an important concern for Audi. The specially designed front of the Audi A4 helps minimize the consequences of a collision, with foam cushioning in front of the transverse bumper beams, a generous crumple zone, panels with defined deformation zones, and special, deformable attachment of the front fender. This makes the Audi A4 one of the very first cars to fulfill all of the new legal regulations for passenger protection in Japan and Europe.



Audi offers an extensive active safety package to help prevent accidents before they happen. The Audi A4 and Q5 rated highly in the Euro NCAP tests thanks to their efficient ESP and seatbelt reminders, both standard equipment.


The high safety standards of the Audi A4 and Audi Q5 were also resoundingly confirmed by the test methods applied by the U.S. National Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA). Both cars received the top five-star rating from the U.S. traffic safety agency in a total of four categories for the front impact test at 35 mph (56 km/h) and the side impact test with a barrier traveling at 38.5 mph (62.5 km/h). The A4 also offered a top five-star performance in the additional category for protection against rollover; due to the higher center of gravity of SUVs, the Audi Q5 was certified with four stars in this category. The results find American safety experts in agreement with their European counterparts: the Audi A4 and Audi Q5 are among the safest cars in their classes.

NISSAN ONCE AGAIN SHOWED ITS SUPREMACY AT THE SUPER GT ROUND 4 AT SEPANG INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT

Nissan have won again at the Sepang Super GT Round 4 International Series. But it was the not the pole sitter’s, Satoshi Motoyama and Benoit Treluyer of NISMO but instead it was the second position qualifier, Ronnie Quintarelli and Hironobu Yasuda of HASEMI MOTORSPORT who took the GT500 title in the Sepang Round Four of the Super GT International Series.

The GT500 Super lap pole sitters, Satoshi Motoyama and Benoit Treluyer of NISMO were struck with a bad luck at the start of the race. The NISMO AUTECH GTR suffered a transmission failure right before the start of the race and had to begin at the end of the grid for a rolling start. Ronnie Quintarelli and Hironobu Yasuda of HASEMI MOTORSPORT were never been happier to take the lead due to the mishap of NISMO TEAM. This is Hironobu Yasuda first victory in his debut season in the Super GT after graduating at Nissan driver development programme.

The start of the race was very intense and nerve wrecking as the cars were closely packed together at the 1st corner and they are moving flat out in order to overtake the leaders ahead. The HASEMI MOTORSPORT Team has a clean road ahead of them and slowly they pulled out of the threat of the two feisty Honda NSX of Team KEIHIN and Team ARTA. ARTA NSX of Ralph Firman and Takuya Izawa, and the Raybrig NSX of Yuji Ide and Shinya Hosokawa were in a battle of their own to take the 3rd position.

The race went on without any incident since the start of the race. NISMO AUTECH GTR started the race at the end of the grid behind the GT300 class. NISMO ace driver Satoshi Motoyama and Benoit Treluyer drove the car hard and fast. Amazingly they managed to finished 8th position. That’s quite an achievement since the team started at the end of the grid.

Inside the winning circle, second position goes to Toshihiro Kaneishi and Koudai Tsukakoshi of Team KEIHIN NSX followed by Ralph Firman and Takuya Izawa of TEAM ARTA NSX in third position.

The GT300 race is exciting as the GT500 class. At the start of the race, there was an accident on lap 1 which causes alot of GT300 cars out of the race. Meanwhile the no. 2 car driven by Hiroki Katoh & Hiroki Yoshimoto saw the crash as an opportunity to gain its position from the end of the grid to 10th position.

The no.2 car, LM JIHAN APPLE SHIDEN were supposed to be on the pole position at the start of the race, due to Handicapped weight infraction they were force to start at the end of the grid on the race day.

After that they managed to gain 3rd position by lap 9. The S ROAD MOLA Z slowly drops down the grid while the Wedsport IS350 took 1st position and the No. 2 LM JIHAN APPLE SHIDEN on the pursue of the Wedsport IS350.

The Wedsport IS350 make a pit stop mistake by lap 25 causing the team to drop down by second position. The mistake has led the LM JIHAN APPLE SHIDEN on 1st place. Since then the gap of the two cars gain margin by 9 seconds. Third runner up goes to the No.7 Mutiara Motors Amemiya SGC 7 driven by Nobuteru Taniguchi and Ryo Orime.

Circuit Safari

As soon as we arrived at the Sepang International Circuit, we managed to get free ride on the race track by using a Bus. This is called the Circuit Safari. In this way you can feel and experience the race track and you can also see the Super GT cars around the track in all new perspective.

During the circuit safari, we witnessed a spin off at end of the hairpin by 2 NSXs and 2 Lexus SC430 and IS350 race cars. The cars are out of control due to the heavy rainfall causing slippery pavement in the morning warm up session.

Keiichi Tsuchiya (Right), Executive Advisor of the Team ARTA NSX.

He is widely known by the motorsport society as the Legendary Drift King. He is also well known for the insane touge battles at the Hot Version and Best Motoring videos. Take a side the drifting and video hosting part, you might not know that he used to drive for Honda using the Nsx at the Le Manns 24hrs in 1995 and Toyota GT-One race car back in 1999. Currently he is also the official judge for the D1 Grand Prix.

DRIFT DEMO AT THE SEPANG INTERNATIONAL CIRCUIT

Leona Chin

This is Leona Chin also known as the Drift Queen of Malaysia. She's currently under the Red Bull Rookies team. She is drifting with her Nissan 180sx. She made an appearance with a drift demo along with other drivers at the Sepang circuit parking lot. Apparently she was interviewed by Japan's Legendary Drift King, Keiichi Tsuchiya later that day at the Sepang circuit parking lot where the drift demo is located.

Just inside the Sepang main entrance, There's a display of owners car from variety of car clubs. Most of the cars are modified to the max. According to one of the owners of the Subaru car clubs, altogether there are 180 cars on display and it took 2 EVO X from the Malaysian authority to escort them to Sepang International Circuit. Now thats a massive car gathering.
