· Audi leads the Brunei automobile premium segment in May
. Audi Q5 tops the best selling model

June 4, 2010 – T.C.Y. Motors Audi division has recorded its strongest performance ever with 74 cars sold locally as of the end of May, by doing so it has surpassed last year’s total sales by 2 units. The brand with the four rings recorded double-digit growth figures in the Brunei premium automobile segment, beating out its brand competitors Mercedes, BMW and Lexus.

Figures are based on statistics released by the Brunei Automobile Traders Association or PPAB.

Audi registered 23 units in May alone – the best monthly result of all time for the Lambak Kanan Industrial Area based dealership.

The award winning Audi Q5 cross-over suv is now T.C.Y. Motors best selling Audi model with a waiting list of more then a few months in average with demands still going up since its soft introduction into the Brunei market in August 2009.

Sixteen units of the Audi Q5 2.0TFSI quattro were registered for the month of May alone with a total of 28 units so far and close behind is another top seller the Audi A4 1.8TFSI Sedan with 19 units total.

T.C.Y. Motors has recently introduced the new generation Audi Q7 suv and a more powerful Audi A6 executive sedan with a V6 super-charged 3.0litre engine with a few more new models soon to be announced.

The Audi dealer will also organize its inaugural Audi quattro Cup amateur golf tournament in August at the Empire Golf & Country Club in Jerudong with the winning team to be flown to the island of Sardinia, Italy for the World finals in October.

The Audi quattro Cup is the world’s largest amateur golf tournament with over a million players participating worldwide since its inception 20 years ago.
