The 2010 Super GT is on the way. It is going to be one of the best Super GT yet with the new race car from Honda, the Honda HSV-10 GT joining the race. Below is a video of the Super GT team testing their race car at the Suzuki Circuit in Japan. According to sources, the 2010 Super GT GTRs are using a brand new engine 3.4-liter VRH34A V8 engine. Would this be enough for Nissan to hold their championship record against the new Honda. We will find out soon enough.

According to Mclaren, the new super car MP4-12C is well underway and its currently on it final stage of its development. The car has been finely tuned by 25 Mclaren engineers. Mind you that the MP4-12C has been tested 24/7, talk about huge workload they have done to the car in order to achieve the 2011 launch.

Mclaren Press Release:
The XP-files: McLaren Automotive reveals details of its next generation of prototypes
Development of the groundbreaking McLaren MP4-12C is entering its final phase. The bespoke high-performance sports car is due to launch in 2011, and right now the latest Experimental Prototype (XP) 12Cs are undergoing intensive appraisal at a number of test locations around the world.
One such site is Spain's Applus IDIADA facility, the most comprehensive independent proving ground in Europe. McLaren Automotive recently obtained special permission to capture on camera the XP Beta cars in action at Applus IDIADA, and on public roads in the foothills near Tarragona. The result is the second in the 'Inside McLaren Automotive' series of short films. This gives viewers a unique insight into a performance car testing programme from the perspective of the development team responsible for the 12C.
Featured in the short film are XP8 and XP10, two XP Beta-phase prototypes. Wrapped almost entirely in matt black vinyl, XP Beta cars are clearly discernable from 2009's XP cars, which were seen in the 'Inside McLaren: Developing the MP4-12C" video sporting a black and white contrasting camouflage exterior.
The XP Beta test cars feature significant technological advancements that take the 12C nearer to production. A revised iteration of the M838T twin-turbo engine, transmission featuring new gear ratios, a more efficient cooling package, new suspension geometry and upgraded electrical architecture are the headline features of current prototypes, denoting key differences between XP and XP Beta cars.
Indicative performance figures generated by the XP Beta cars are expected to be announced in March, but feedback from February's testing suggests that McLaren Automotive's aspirations to out-perform its competitors appear well-founded.
A core team of 20-25 Vehicle Technicians travel with the XP Beta cars and are on hand 24 hours a day, seven days a week to support a test programme that mirrors the intensity of developing a Formula 1 car. Meanwhile, a further 12 Vehicle Development Engineers are responsible for specific technologies and systems being appraised while out on test.
Mark Vinnels, McLaren Automotive Programme Director, is leading the engineering team and said: "There is an extensive list of subjective and objective targets set for our prototype vehicles. These XP Beta cars are already achieving outstanding results in many of the subjective areas, which includes ride quality, handling and many other aspects of dynamic performance.
"The benchmark competitor vehicles we have tested become nervous and twitchy at higher speed, but the 12C feels more stable than anything I have driven. Because the bump rejection is so good, the ride is smooth and the steering is solid."
"Between now and production the vehicles and the team are working flat out. All this is geared towards not just achieving our unprecedented levels of performance but also guaranteeing the levels of quality, reliability and durability with which we expect to delight future McLaren customers."
Just over a month ago, Peugeot pulled the wraps off its new corporate identity which encapsulates high standards and excitement, two qualities that are especially applicable to motor sport.
Peugeot Sport, official suppliers of driving excitement. Like Peugeot, Peugeot Sport is on the offensive. As it prepares for the future by building on its recent successes, not only does Peugeot Sport serve as a shop window for the brand, both technologically and in terms of image, but it also mirrors the latter's new corporate identity, which puts movement and motoring enjoyment at the heart of its strategy.
2009 was a highly successful year in motor sport terms: topping the bill was a one-two finish in the Le Mans 24 Hours, a clean sweep of the podium places for the 207 Super 2000 in the Rallye Monte-Carlo, as well as third consecutive Manufacturers' and Drivers’ titles in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge, thanks to the efforts of several Peugeot subsidiaries, not forgetting the ongoing tradition of individual event wins and national titles achieved by private entrants.
All this is the result of the spirit of those competitors, a spirit which must continue in 2010 in the hunt for further success and excitement.
2010 endurance racing : targeting another win at Le Mans. Riding high on the back of last year's one-two finish, Peugeot Sport is aiming to do it again in 2010. In the fourth and final year of the 908 HDi FAP’s career, Team Peugeot Total has pressed on with its development, getting down to work on the very next day after that historic win, striving to squeeze even more improvements out of the car.
What you see here is an example of a nicely modded daily driven Z with looks and sounds goes with it. Codename MuscuLarZ. The owner of this Z is a member of Brunei Z owner’s club association (BZOCA). Since the ride is daily driven an Amuse front end with Chargespeed side skirt and rear bumper for a clean look.
19" chrome ssr professor wrapped in Falken FK452 measuring 245/35/19 up front and 275/35/19 in the rear.
One of the big changes to the car is the sound system. The owner purposely built this Z for show and sound quality. A Clarion MX676VD double DIN head unit replaced the stock head unit for better sound and its also connected to the Silicon rear view camera.
DB audio did a great job in creating a show worthy console with its metallic green tribal ghost flames which houses two 12" subwoofers, two amplifiers, 4 crossovers and a fusion capacitor. This simple setup gives out good sound quality and a show worthy finish. The whole car is also sound proofed to reduce the vibration in the car.
Fusion audio is a well known brand but not very common in Brunei until now as Seng Hoe Huat brought in the bass package and the active enclosures.
The 2 Fusion 12" PP-SW12H subwoofers are powered by a single 2000watt monoblock amplifier which handles the low frequency and giving it a deep and strong bass. Surprisingly the owner stated that the there is enough space for the woofers to be inverted and face outwards for a stronger bass.
A Fusion capacitor ensures that the two powerful amplifiers are feed with enough juice when the bass hits hard and also shows the voltage reading making sure that the battery and alternator can keep up with the demand for power.
2 sets of fusion component speakers gives out clear mids and highs for crisp and clear sound quality. A set of the component are placed in the trunk facing outwards and neatly flushed in the console. Whereas the another set replace the original speakers in the doors. The component speakers are power by a 4ch 800watt Fusion amplifier which gives sufficient power and provides the speakers with clear signals.
The crossover for the 2 sets of component is neatly flushed under the two massive amplifiers.
