T.C.Y. Motors celebrates Lunar New Year at its new Kiarong showroom

On 16.2.2011, T.C.Y. Motors Sdn Bhd held a Lunar New Year open house celebration at their new showroom located in Kampung Kiarong.
A colorful lion dance performance was specially arranged to entertain the showroom guests who were present, the Chinese community also believe it is auspicious to ‘invite’ a lion dance into their business premises during this particular festive season to usher in good fortune for the rest of the year.
Present at the event was Mr. Teng Ching Ying, chairman of T.C.Y. Motors Sdn Bhd as well as other management & staffs. The dealership is also celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and is currently offering some special promotions on some of the vehicle brands it represents.
One such promotion is for the new compact Peugeot 107 which was just recently introduced into Brunei, buyers can receive a free 2-months installment package when they purchase the model at this time.
The Peugeot 107, a chic 4-door hatchback was awarded 4 Euro NCAP safety stars due to its design, safety equipment and easily mastered road handling capabilities, the 107 ensures a peace of mind for its occupants.

Peugeot 207 Spider Race Car
The Peugeot 207 Spider Race Car is a Le Mans Prototype-style racer build with a tubular frame chassis, and meets IAF LMP1 and LMP2 regulations. The Spider's engine and gearbox is installed in the rear with a transverse layout.
The powerplant used to drive the race car is a turbocharged 1.6litre PSA-BMW Prince engine tuned to produce 175hp @5800rpm. The gearbox is a Sadev ST74-146 6-speed dog ring sequential gearbox matched with a 207 RC sintered metal disc clutch mechanism and paddle shifters on the steering wheel.
The Spider 207 has two diffusers, one located under the bonnet forward o f the front wheels, the other at the extreme rear.They are separated by a wide, flat under floor covering practically the entire underside o f the car. These diffusers and extractors help improve road holding.
Rear down force is also aided by the design o f the imposing rear cowling, giving the car a specific style, but also making it possible to dispense with a rear spoiler, which can be very prone to accidental damage.The bodywork consists of 9 individual parts in order to reduce repair costs. The overall weight of the car is only 720kg.
