On the 17th February 2012, Happy Motoring Sendirian berhad successfully launched the new 2012 Honda Civic 1.8L VTi and 2.0L Si. It is the ninth generation of the well renowned Honda Civic. With the redesigned exterior styling and revised engine dynamics, this is probably the most stylish and environment friendly Honda Civic yet. There are number of new features which are a first to be implemented on the Honda Civic such as ECON button with Eco Assist and intelligent Multi-information display (i-MID). When you press the Econ button, the Civic automatically adjusts its engine and other power-using systems into super-efficient mode to maximize your fuel efficiency. The Civic Si offers the efficient performance of a 155ps, 2.0-liter, 16-valve, SOHC i-VTEC engine which has been refined for 2012 with many friction-reducing and airflow improvements. The engine is lighter thanks to Honda weight-saving technologies and further engine modifications resulting impressive new EPA ratings for the Civic. The 2012 Civic Sedan now achieves 28 city/39 highway mpg. In addition, Honda even improved the handling characteristic of the Civic by increasing the structural rigidity of the car.
For the 2.0L Si version, you will be pampered with full leather seats. The leather seats are so plush and comfortable that you would forget it is a Honda Civic, not a high end luxury car. The Civic features a 160watt audio system which consists of 4 speaker audio and a USB Audio interface.
The 2012 Honda Civic features a full array of safety equipments such as dual front airbags with side curtain airbags, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Anti-lock disc brakes (ABS), electronic brake distribution (EBD),rear parking sensor and Tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
