From what i know, maintenance is going to be a pain in the a** since Nissan has decided not to release it's technical know how on the GTR to outside parties aside authorized ones (such as NHPC and maybe some major aftermarket companies for purpose of parts development) to protect its intellectual property.

GTR V-spec is a nice car if all you want is exclusivity. This is the same case with the Mugen RR (the normal RR, not the advanced concept).

Albeit all the performance accessories under its hood, IMO the normal GTR is a somewhat better all-rounder and is much less expensive than the V-spec version. Not sure about the price here tho, but in UK you could actually buy 2 GTR's for the
